This reading group is for those people who like to read
and aim to enrich their lives with knowledge and information.
As usual on Tuesdays, we are reading books written in Japanese
at “Sumadoku.
However, this time we’re trying to read some books written in English.
We are going to read the books, which we chose,
before we have our meeting together.
Then we will talk about them during our session.
We are planning to organize this reading group every Friday.
【The Date And Time】
The first get-together: May 18th, 2012 7:30am
Every Friday, we will have this gathering.
※You can join us whenever you want between 7:30 and 8:30.

Shijo Karasuma nishi Dai San Tagen Building 4F（1F is FamilyMart）
It’s so convenient to transfer, because it’s near Shijo subway station!

＜How To Organize The Book Club’s Session＞
【For The First Gathering】
��A self-introduction（1 minute per person）
��A sharing of opinions on the book or an outline of it.（2 minutes per person）
��Some discussion about the book.（3 minutes per person）
��Repetition of steps � 銑� for everyone at the meeting.
��Then choose one book for which to share more opinions.
【From the second meeting】
��We should read the book we choose during the first session before our session.
��At the session, we should talk about our opinions, impressions and thoughts.
��After we finish reading and sharing a book, we can choose the next book
we would like to share.
Through this experience,
・We can read a variety of books.
・We can learn a lot of things from reading various literary styles.
・We can begin to know the assortment of values each person possesses.
※We have do not limit any book genres. Business, self-development, history,
philosophy, novels, magazines, comic books, collections of photographs…
Any book, which you think will lead to an enrichment of your knowledge, is OK!
※You can participate in sessions whenever you want.
